Rock Developments announced its contract with “Trane” to supply HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems for the “Rock Gold” project, Egypt’s first mall dedicated to gold and beauty.
This comes after Rock Developments recently contracted with “Egybel,” the Egyptian-Belgian company, to construct the façade of “Rock Gold,” reaffirming the company’s commitment to offering a leading and distinctive experience in the Egyptian market.
Rock Gold Mall is the first of its kind in Egypt to meet all women’s needs, bringing together the finest gold brands and evening dresses, as well as beauty clinics and centers, cafes, a variety of restaurants, and a children’s area to offer a unique shopping experience for mothers. The mall also includes a gym and shops selling sweets, accessories, flowers, perfumes, and eyewear.
Located in Golden Square, New Cairo, on Mohamed Bin Zayed Axis, just minutes from the American University in Cairo, Rock Gold spans 11,000 sqm with a built-up area of 40,000 sqm, in addition to 3,000 sqm of services, seating areas, and landscaped spaces. It also offers parking for over 200 cars.
Trane has an impressive portfolio in the Egyptian market, having supplied cooling systems for major projects such as Hurghada Airport expansions, Assiut, Sharm El-Sheikh, and Sohag airports, as well as hotels like Al Alamein, Savoy Sharm El Sheikh, and Swiss Inn Hotel. It has also served government ministries, corporate headquarters, shopping malls such as City Centre Almaza, and banks including Housing & Development Bank and BLOM Bank.
Rock Developments boasts over 44 years of experience and was among the first real estate companies to expand outside Egypt, specifically into the Canadian market. It has developed a series of distinguished projects in Egypt under the “Rock” brand in East and West Cairo, such as Rock Eden, Rock Ville, and Rock Vera, and has recently launched other projects including Rock Yard in Sheraton and Rock Capital 1 in the New Administrative Capital.
